Make it Real (“Make it Real”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to providing you with a fun and enjoyable experience when you visit our website or mobile application. We are always trying to better understand and present you with information about the products and services that are most helpful to you. To help us in that process, we do collect information about you through your online shopping experiences. This Privacy Statement describes the types of information we collect and how we use it.

The Make it Real website (“Site”) and mobile application (“App”) (collectively, “Services”), are not intended for children. We define Child/children (kid/kids) as Individuals who are not of legal age to consent to the collection and processing of their personal information. For most areas of the world, those are individuals under 13. In the European Economic Area (EEA), they are individuals under 16. We adhere to local definitions of “children” for the Services located in jurisdictions where the age is different. Make it Real does not sell products for purchase by children. We sell children’s products for purchase by adults. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdictions), you may use our Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

Some of the information we collect from you is considered personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”). Personal Information is information which can be used, alone or in combination with other information, to identify an individual.

In this Privacy Statement, we list the circumstances under which we collect Personal Information, and the type of Personal Information we collect. We also explain how we use, share, and protect Personal Information. HOW DO WE USE AND SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use Personal Information to improve and enhance your shopping experience, in the following ways:

In the event of any significant transaction or matter involving Make it Real or any of its related entities or divisions including, but not limited to, a sale, merger, financing, re-organization, liquidation, or insolvency, other parties to the transaction and their professional advisors may need to have access to Make it Real’s customer lists and various databases as part of the due diligence process. In this event, Make It Real would only provide such access under terms of a strict confidentiality agreement. Also, upon completion of the transaction or event, your personal information would be transferred to the Make It Real successor-in-interest to be used only for the purposes for which it was collected. If we are able to provide advance notice to you, we will do our best to do so.

SPECIAL NOTICE ABOUT INTEREST-BASED ADVERTISING

Some websites may belong to interest-based advertising networks that collect and use your browsing history across various websites to choose which ads to display to you on their sites. Make it Real may participate in interest-based advertising to enhance your customer experience. We also may use information collected through interest-based advertising to improve our customer service, and provide you with communications and promotions from us or others.

If you opt out, you still may see ads or receive communications from us, although but they will not be based on your interests. You also may not be able to participate in certain activities or receive promotions tailored to you.

SPECIAL NOTICE ABOUT OUR APP GALLERY

Our App Gallery offers you the opportunity to share images created using our products. When you volunteer to share an image in our gallery, we and our gallery service provider collect the image, your user name, and the caption that you’ve placed on the image. We may post this information on our App Gallery, on other pages of our website, and on our social media pages. By choosing to share this information, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.

Do not upload information to our gallery if you do not wish them to be seen by others.

If you change your mind and do not want us to use information that you have already shared with us, simply send us an e-mail at info@makeitrealplay.com and indicate the information you would no longer wish to have shared in the gallery. While we cannot guarantee that information that has been shared can be removed, if we are unable to remove your requested information from public view you will be advised.

HOW DO WE PROTECT PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use industry standard security techniques on our Services to help protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of the Personal Information we collect. Personal Information we collect is stored on servers we have attempted to secure from unauthorized access or intrusion by using industry-standard physical, procedural and electronic security measures, as well as encryption tools and methods and software.

It may be possible for third parties not under our control to intercept or access transmissions or private communications unlawfully. While we strive to protect your Personal Information, neither Make it Real nor any of our service providers can ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us over the Internet. Except with regard to contacting potential winners of a promotion, Make it Real does not ask you to provide Personal Information by sending e-mail requests. Therefore, if you receive an unsolicited e-mail that looks like it comes from Make it Real and it asks you for Personal Information (such as your name, address, or credit card number), do not respond. The e-mail may be phishing to steal your Personal Information. MAKE IT REAL products are available for sale by many retailers, specialty stores, and department stores which operate their own websites, mobile sites, and social media sites. Our Site and Social Media may contain links to those retailers, or to websites and social media pages of other third parties such as advertisers or co-branding partners. Information collected by these third parties is not provided to Make it Real, and we are not responsible for the collection, use and disclosure of that information. RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We will retain Personal Information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by applicable law or regulation.

PERSONAL INFORMATION OF CHILDREN

Our Services and Social Media are directed to parents and to individuals over the age of thirteen (13) who shop for and purchase our products. We do not knowingly solicit or collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we discover that a child under the age of 13 has shared Personal Information with us, we will not use that information except as necessary to protect the safety of the child and others as the law permits or requires. We also will take all reasonable measures to have that information deleted. We do not provide privacy measures designed to protect children when using our Services or the internet unsupervised.

SPECIAL NOTIFICATION ABOUT OUR MOBILE APPLICATION

Our App is designed for users of all ages. Users under the age of 18 may use our App so long as they obtain permission from their parent or guardian. Users under the age of 13 must also indicate upon setup that they are under the age of 13. Our App does not intentionally collect information from users who are under the age of 13, incorporates industry-leading privacy protections, and prohibits the uploading of images to and interacting with images in the App Gallery.

Our App is created and maintained through our partner, Makeree. Makeree assists us in providing and maintaining our App to create a great experience for you. In downloading and accessing our App, Makeree may be able to access your App user data. In addition to our Privacy Policy, the Makeree Privacy Policy governs their handling of the information.
